Personal Expense Budgeting Coaching
Most people who struggle with budgeting are not bad with money - they just never had a clear system. This coaching service is built around your specific income, fixed costs, and the irregular expenses that tend to derail even the best intentions, like car repairs, annual subscriptions, or dental bills.
What we work through together
We start by mapping out your current spending using your last two to three months of bank and credit card statements. No guessing, no averages - just what you actually spent. From there, we identify the gaps between what you thought you were spending and what the numbers show.
Irregular and seasonal costs
One of the most overlooked parts of budgeting is planning for expenses that do not arrive monthly. We build a sinking fund structure into your plan so that a $600 car insurance renewal in October does not feel like a crisis. This alone tends to reduce the stress people associate with budgeting.
Sessions are held over video call, typically 60 minutes each. Between sessions you will have a shared spreadsheet to track progress and flag anything that comes up. This is not a set-it-and-forget-it plan - it adapts as your situation changes.
- Spending audit using real transaction data
- Category-by-category budget build

- Two follow-up check-in sessions included
[Programme] - What this covers
-
Session 1 - Spending Audit
We review your last three months of transactions together. You will share a categorized export from your bank or a simple spreadsheet. The goal is a clear picture of fixed, variable, and irregular costs.
-
Session 2 - Budget Construction
Using the audit data, we build your monthly budget by category. We set realistic limits based on what you actually spend, not idealized numbers, and flag areas where small adjustments are possible.
-
Session 3 - Sinking Funds and Irregular Expenses
We calculate your annual irregular costs, divide them into monthly contributions, and add them as budget line items. This session also covers how to handle windfalls, bonuses, or months with extra income.
-
Sessions 4 and 5 - Check-ins
Two follow-up calls scheduled at 30 and 60 days. We review what worked, what did not, and adjust the plan accordingly. These sessions are shorter - about 30 minutes each.
What you will need before Session 1
Bank statements or a transaction export covering the past three months, a list of any recurring subscriptions or memberships, and your most recent pay stubs or income records.
